Tempe Trees Interactive Map & Tour

The ASU Tempe campus has many trees on it, yet few people know the species or the history. This website has been created to supply students and visitors with this knowledge. Rather than making a list of every single tree on campus, we sought to create an interactive tree tour. We have pulled information from scientific sources to give general information about the trees. More importantly, we have searched through archives and interviewed members of the ASU community in order to construct a well-rounded story for the trees. By highlighting the history of the trees, we hope to attribute meaning and value to them.

Located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia’s capital city beckons more than three million annual visitors for good reason – its beauty is anything but a secret. New residents flock to Victoria for some of the same reasons tourists do, and it appears they are using quite a few U-Haul trucks to get there.
